What type of paper do you print on?
The photo cards are professionally printed on photo paper, just like a real photograph. All the photo cards have a matte finish, which is non-glossy and resist fingerprints. Because they are printed just like traditional photographs they will stay true to their color for years to come. These are all flat photo cards and are 7 ˝ x 6 inches.
We have card stock options as well in 5 x 7 and 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 sizes. We print on 100 lb heavy card stock and prefer a linen finish.

How do I get my pictures to you?
When placing your order with It's All About The Cards Photo Cards just send your pictures as attachments to the email address that is listed on the contact us page or send them to photos@itsallaboutthecards.com . PLEASE DO NOT crop your images or try to correct red eye or adjust the color. We will do all of that for you. Please make sure that your images are high resolution, at least 1800x1200 pixels. If the resolution is smaller than this the print quality will not be what it should.
Please make sure if you mail us your photograph that it is not your only copy.
Do you have a minimum order number?
Yes, because we charge no design fee or setup fee we must have minimum order of 20 photo cards.
If you would like to order less then 20 cards, we would include a design fee if $25.00
Do I get to see a proof of my photo card before I pay?
Absolutely! We will email your proof to you in 1-2 business days. At that time you can make any changes you wish to the photo card. Your order is not printed until you are completely satisfied and the payment has been made. These cards are all completely custom and can be changed and revised in any way.
What is the turn around time for the photo cards?
Once we receive your pictures a proof will be emailed to you in 1-2 business days. Once we receive your approval for the proof we will typically have the cards in the mail within 3-4 business days.
How do you ship the orders?
We ship our cards via USPS priority mail. It usually takes 2-3 business days to receive your order once it has been mailed.
Is it possible to get a RUSH order?
Yes, we do rush orders at an additional fee of $25. This includes a 24-hour turn around on your proof. 24 hour shipping is available; please refer to our shipping page for that information.
Can I use professional images for my cards?
Yes, however, professional portraits and photographs remain the property of the photographer who took the picture. Before we will use the picture we MUST receive express written permission from the photographer for us to use it. You must send us a copy of the signed, written release along with your photo card order. The photographer may also fax us the release directly at 770-813-1205. Please inform the photographer that an emailed copyright release will not be sufficient.
Unauthorized use of professional images is illegal!
Can you convert my color photo into black and white?
Yes! We can also do black & white with color tinting, sepia, or you can choose to leave your image in color. Just let us know what you want and we will make it happen.
Do you have a Christmas deadline?
Yes, to make sure that your Christmas photo cards arrive in time for you to mail them out before December 25th, the cut off date is, December 12th. Please note that the turn around time during the holiday season may be extended by a couple of days. You are more than welcome to order after this date, however we CANNOT guarantee that you will receive them in time to mail them out before Christmas Day. You may also want to consider a Happy New Year card. They are becoming more popular as we get so busy before the holidays.
What type of touch ups will you do to my photo?
We can crop, reduce red eye, and adjust the color and or brightness, color tint, change to black and white or sepia. We can also remove blemishes, scratches, etc. We are also able to soften the background if needed. We will do whatever is needed to make your image the best it can be for your photo cards.
What do I get with my order?
You will get a custom layout, specifically designed for your event with a color palette of your choosing. You will also have the final say in proofing your photo card before any payment has been made. You will also get envelopes with your order.
Can I get my envelopes early?
Yes, just send us an email with an address of where to send them and we can send them out early for only the cost of shipping.
Do you ship orders outside the U.S.? Yes, let us know where you are located and we can get you a shipping quote.
If I am unhappy with my order, can I get a refund?
Since our products are custom printed, we do not offer a refund unless there is a problem with the order due to our error. We encourage all potential customers to order a sample pack if you have any questions about the styles offered and how each looks/feels in person.
